Memorial Park's new brick walkway was dedicated on Thursday. The committe of residents that raised $30,000 to build the walk, First Selectman Karen D. Paradis, and the Rev. Kim Wadhams of the Morris Congregational Church gathered in the park for a brief dedication ceremony. The walk includes 186 granite pavers engraved with the names of individuals who donated money to the project. An urn and flowers donated by White Flower Farm in Morris are stationed in the middle of the walk. Dave Robert of Morris oversaw construction of the walk. Robert is the owner of Versatile Excavating.
