Art St. John of Bantam, center, flanked by his daughter, Diane Blick, and son, David St. John, holds the framed reproduction of the Declaration of Independence that he donated to the Borough of Bantam on Saturday. Fletcher Cooper of the Bantam Historical Society (behind St. John) received the donation on behalf of the borough. St. John bought the reproduction at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C., in 2005. Ella Crampton Knox of Bantam donated framing for the document.
