Litchfield resident, F. Robert Petricone received the Distinguished Community Leader Award at the NW CT Chamber of Commerce's Celebration of Success Awards on Wednesday evening at the Fairview Farm Banquet Facility in Harwinton. Paul McLaughlin of Litchfield Bancorp presented the award to Bob. Bob cited his roles with SCORE (Senior Core of Retired Executives), CJR (CT Junior Republic), OWL (Oliver Wolcott Library), the Litchfield Housing Trust and the Litchfield Community Service Fund as the most satisfying in terms of results that have been achieved. He was joined by his wife Janet and a large contingent of his friends representing all of the organizations where he has held leadership positions. Litchfield Bancorp was the event sponsor.
